Brinsley Parish Council is seeking a motivated and community-focused individual to take on the role of Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO). This is a permanent position at the heart of local governance, offering the opportunity to make a real difference within the parish.

The successful candidate will either hold, or be willing to work towards, the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) within 18 months of appointment. A strong financial background is essential, alongside good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. The role requires excellent organisational, communication, and administrative skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

Working an average of 20 hours per week, the post offers flexibility and a competitive salary in line with NALC pay scales (SCP 24). The Council also provides access to the NEST pension scheme.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting the effective running of a parish council.
