We currently have a number of staff roles available at Brinsley Parish Council.

Brinsley Parish Council is looking to expand its team and is currently advertising for two key roles: Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) and Cleaner/Caretaker.
Clerk/RFO Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and people minded person to be our new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to the Council.
Hours will be an average of 20 per week based in the office over a minimum of 3 days.
This is a permanent position and candidates are encouraged to be trained to CiLCA standard or be willing to do so within 18 months of being appointed.
A good financial background is essential and knowledge of Scribe would be advantageous. Working with Microsoft products such as word, excel and presentation tools also needed.

Pay will be based on the NALC pay scales (point 24-28 £17.79 – £19.66 per hour) and the Council operates the NEST pension scheme

Cleaner/Caretaker Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and people minded person to be our new Caretaker/Cleaner at the Brinsley Parish Hall.
Hours will be up to 12 per week over 4 days with a mixture of cleaning and caretaking duties.
This is a permanent position based at the Brinsley Parish Hall site.

Pay will be based on National Minimum Wage and uniform plus full training will be provided.
